When you get out there the wilderness is alive! Living history, sights, sounds and socializing also enhance what the area has to offer on top of the biking experience. Our guides do not rest by simply showing you the trails, interpretation of natural history and ecology is just one of the many extras you can expect from them. They can also arrange optional kid’s activities to make your family Holiday experience a unique one.

You'll be well taken care of. Our guides are the best in the local business; all are trained in river and backcountry safety and first-aid. They take having fun seriously and will inform, entertain and engage you in a variety of ways. This is their passion. They'll also show you their favorite places...a short walk up a side of the hill to a private waterfall...a view from a cliff overlooking what seems to be the entire world...sleeping under the stars on a soft, sandy beach.

Tipping the guides: Many guests ask us if tipping is appropriate after the trip. If you feel the guides have been instrumental in your enjoyment of the trip, you may choose to direct a gratuity to the trip leader. He/She will then distribute it evenly to the other crew members. Of those that choose to tip, the average contribution amount is about $5.00 per guest, per day. However, the decision to tip is left to your sole discretion.

What are we? Freeriders or XC?
To be a freerider, you have to ride a heavy bike and tear ass downhill. To be an XC rider, you have to have less than three inches of travel, a bike that weights squat, and travel great distances really fast. To be a recreational rider, you have to have a bike, ride it, enjoy being out on the trail with your buds, and live to ride. Oh yeah, and go really fast. Then we are recreational free XC riders, right?
